Early in my career, I worked in a challenging family business environment, and I never wanted that for my son. I wanted us to have fun together.”

Family time has always been a priority for Mike, and now with more time to focus on his interests, he’ll continue working on his farms, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with loved ones. He’s also fully committed to growing his farm businesses—Woodlife Ranch, Woodlife Farm Market, Battenkill Farms, and Galloo Island—which he’s incredibly passionate about.

As for his legacy, Mike states, “I don’t want to be remembered right now. I still have a lot of living to do!.”
